Letter from the founder Alain Floquet (fall 2021)

Due to sanitary measures that you all know very well, the past year has largely deprived us of the practice of our Art .
However many of you have succeeded in maintaining the link with their practitioners and through original and unifying initiatives.
You have shown the strength of Aikibudo, who, through its values of sharing and solidarity, is able to overcome the imposed constraints. Thank you !
The training sessions during summer have allowed some of you to meet on the tatami mats or on grassy and wooded grounds, with moments of joy, pleasure and emotions. Let us express our wishes so that our Art and its historical entities continue to bring benefits to those who pursue the path traced by the Ancients.
One of the originalities of Aikibudo is to have integrated all the practitioners without category of weight, age, or gender in one same art. The diversity in our practice is an invaluable asset.
In this issue, an important place has been given to feminine quills which offer us a complementary and very rich insight.
Thank you to all those who have helped to pave the way, and I hope that it will continue over the next few issues.
I wish you a good season, far from this damn virus, a good season with our traditional meetings : all the seminars organized by our federations of Aïkibudo and Katori-Shinto-ryu.
